Owner Operated
One Truck, One Owner, No Runaround

One Owner, One Truck, and a Straight Answer
Acadian Services is Jonathan Grant. He answers the phone, quotes the job, and does the loading himself. That means the person who gives you a price is the person standing in your driveway, and nothing gets lost between a call center and a crew you have never met.
No call center, no rotating crew, and no hourly meter running while you decide. You get a flat price before anything is loaded, and the person who quoted it is the one who shows up to do the work.
Our Four Step Process
Send a picture of the pile. A photo answers most questions faster than scheduling a walkthrough.
One number covering labor, hauling, and disposal. No hourly meter and no surprise at the end.
We carry it out and sweep behind it. You do not have to drag anything to the curb first.
The load goes to the transfer station, or to donation when the items still have life in them.
Everything You Need to Know, Answered
What is the minimum charge for junk removal?
Our minimum is $150, and it covers a single item or about a quarter trailer. National app-based services advertise single-item pickups starting near $65 to $79, but those prices add a fee for each additional item and are usually run by dispatchers rather than the crew who shows up.
How is junk removal priced?
By volume and weight, never by the hour. Disposal is the highest single cost in the job, and the landfill charges by what comes off the trailer, not by how long we spent loading it. Volume pricing also puts the risk on us: we quote the pile, and if it takes longer than we thought, that is our problem. The number we give you before we start is the number you pay, as long as the pile is what you described.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes, and there is no obligation attached. Text photos to (225) 241-0244, and you will usually have a number back within two hours.
Is same-day junk removal more expensive?
No. We charge the same price today or next week. The only limit on same-day service is if the trailer is already out on another job.
Do you charge extra to haul off a refrigerator?
Yes, $35. Section 608 of the Clean Air Act requires a certified technician to recover refrigerant before the unit can be scrapped, and that recovery costs money. The same applies to freezers and window air conditioners.
